Looking to improve the health of your home environment? This virtual consultation with an environmental health professional is designed to help you explore practical ways to create a healthier home. Prior to your session, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire about your home and surrounding environment, some of your habits, and products you regularly use. You will have a 30-minute call prior to your consultation to discuss high-priority items and any other questions or concerns you would like to make sure are addressed. This allows us to tailor the consultation to your specific needs.

During the 60-minute virtual consultation, we’ll discuss possible environmental health concerns for your specific home and simple habits and choices that can support healthier living. We’ll be sure to talk through questions or concerns you communicated during our initial call.

Topics may include:

• Guidance on environmental testing, including what may be worth testing for and when testing may not be necessary

• Discussion of drinking water, soil, radon, or air test results for your home, if applicable

• Discussion of past uses of the property or nearby businesses and land uses that may influence environmental conditions at your home

• Practical ways to improve your home that fit into your lifestyle

• Suggestions for choosing safer products to use in your home, such as cleaning products and bathing products
